The Kick off Meeting for Erasmus+ Vocational Education Mobility Projects was realized

The Kick off Meeting for Erasmus+ Vocational Education Mobility Projects was realized in Ankara. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı and the representatives of the 518 projects accepted in the period of 2018 Call for Proposal in the framework of Erasmus+ Vocational Education Mobility Projects participated in the meeting.

The meeting started with the opening speech of The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı. Presentations were realized on Turkey-EU Relationships, Project Implementation Processes, Good Practices, Mobility Tool, Europass Mobility Certificate, and Erasmus+ Projects’ Dissemination Activities for the beneficiaries whose projects were accepted.

 



The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı:

“Erasmus+ Programme plays an important role in Turkey-EU affairs. While cultural and commercial affairs between Turkey and EU are so intensive, Erasmus+ mobility projects are a central and complementary part of this comprehensive structure. Mobility projects are of critical importance  for our citizens both to participate in  activities in order to develop their vocational proficiencies and  to represent our country in Europe.”

Approximately 19 million Euro was allocated to the 518 mobility projects accepted in the framework of Erasmus+ Vocational Education Mobility Projects in 2018. Thanks to the accepted projects, approximately 10.000 students, 300  vocational education staff, including the accompanying persons, will participate in training courses, on job learning and observation activities, and education and training processes in different countries of Europe.
